Research Scientist
Description
- Undertake and/or assist in method development, validation and analysis of biological samples using LC-MS/MS and various extraction techniques for assigned studies.
- Process data, draft analytical methods, and reports for assigned studies maintaining a high level of quality throughout in a timely manner.
- Maintain the laboratory by ensuring it is clean, tidy, safe at all times.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, ordering and receipt of relevant chemicals, reagents and consumables required.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to utilize word processing software, databases, spreadsheet and specialised software.
- Knowledge of testing guidelines, as applicable.
- Responds efficiently to requests and delivers on commitments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Demonstrates and promotes teamwork.
- Adapts well to changing situations/priorities and overcomes obstacles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Education/Qualifications
- At least BSc degree or equivalent lab experience
- Writing, reading, and speaking English are required
Senior Research Scientist
Description
- Undertake (and direct junior staff as appropriate) in method development, validation and analysis of biological samples using LC-MS/MS and various extraction techniques for assigned studies.
- Manage projects for Sponsors demonstrating clear, effective, and timely communication.
- Ensure allocated projects are planned and executed within agreed timelines to a high level of quality.
- Process data, draft analytical methods, and reports for assigned studies maintaining a high level of quality throughout in a timely manner.
- Maintain the laboratory by ensuring it is clean, tidy, safe at all times.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, ordering and receipt of relevant chemicals, reagents and consumables required.

Education/Qualifications
- Minimum BSc degree with at least 5 years lab experience or equivalent
- Science related degree is highly desirable.
- Experience may be substituted for education
